Reading Michael Green: A Prayer Journey with the Apostle Paul. Very struck by Paul's public prayerfulness and dependence on God. May I be prayerful and model such prayerfulness in all ministry, beginning with the time in India. There is a humility about public prayerfulness which is some of the answer to all pride and self-dependence.
This is also a place where individual and corporate prayerfulness can be encouraged. I m reminded of Bishop Stephen whom I have often observed beginning a sermon with a lengthy moment of prayerful silence.
